Recording journal 2 “Flow-tation” 2021
All started in the summer of 2020, when visiting the old farmhouse of Daaf in France. We decided to record some of our new material.
A simple setup with only 2 mics in the living-room, was the studio idea.
But the tunes turned out to be so original, diverse and deep, that we choose to further work on it back in Amsterdam, adding instruments and using space effects we stash in our living room.
The result: Some of the tunes are close to the raw recordings, others transformed in quite unexpected new space-out songs.
